Anushka was first seen as a model for 2017 to model for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show in Lakme Fashion Week. He picked her as his finale model of the collection for Spring/Summer 2007. The film received mixed reviews. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat. She played the role of a Punjabi woman from the middle classes who runs her own wedding business. The film received a positive review. With Band Baaja Baaraat Anushka's three-film agreement under the Yash Raj Films banner was completed.
